Fashion Don't: Google Augmented Reality Glasses

Maybe in the future, everyone will wear augmented reality glasses. But I am going to wait for the Iris Apfel-style glasses, version 3.0, or perhaps a Google collaboration with Tom Ford before donning any spectacles so decidedly unsexy.

Google shot images of models as part of a design study for augmented reality glasses. These images just go to show you should be a cross between Reese Witherspoon and Rebecca Gayheart in a Noxzema ad to appear even halfway okay in these specs, should they ever reach a manufacturing line. How unfair to mere mortals!

In a demo video for Project Glass, the wearer uses his augmented reality glasses to travel roughly six blocks in New York. Might I note the city is on a grid? Haha. Go technology!

Well, if these do catch on like wildfire, you could schmance 'em up with a vintage Courreges dress or bangs down to your nose.
